I can't remember where I got the grass from

So I thought I'd try doing some landscaping. Specifically, a nice little island. I then had the idea to do a regular update showing the island getting developed. So this is just the first part, if I ever get around to doing more.

But I can't have such a thing without some sort of set up, now can I:

Day 1:
We got a new contract the other day. Some over paid scientists want to conduct some sort of social experiment. They built a small island off the coast, borrowing rock and dirt displaced by construction.

Our first objective is a simple scout job. They need to know how stable the land is, if a village could be built there, could said village support itself with no external help...that kind of thing.

Our second objective is a supply job. Get the basic resources over there, plant trees if possible.

Third, we need to get some infrastructure going. This will include shelter and some form of food production and water purification.

Fourth, ship over the "residents". Twenty. Possibly more in future.

Fifth, if necessary, act as supplier to island.

I don't like the sound of this. But it's good money, and it'll set us up for life.

Dr Matthews, the scientist leading the project, said we could have the honour of naming the island. Asked the group to have a little think. See what they come up with.

UPDATE;
The computer this project was saved on has suffered a major failure somewhere and is now unable to complete the boot up process (no access to even the backup thing Windows was so keen on me making every month!)

I have a new computer, obviously, but it's a netbook - no keypad, which is unfortunately kind of important in working in Blender (as it moves between different viewpoints, which is pretty freaking vital.)

I'll try to see if I can edit my settings, but if not, this project will have to wait for me to get a new PC.
